A three-day residential workshop in stone carving. Suitable for beginners and people keen to extend their existing skills. Taught by professional carver Lucy Churchill. During the course you will:
Group sizes are limited to eight. This means that the course can be adapted according to your needs, and there is ample opportunity for personal guidance. Courses are run in the historic market town Uppingham (on the A47 between Leicester and Nottingham, see map). Tuition is from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon, in the grounds of Uppingham School. Board and accomodation is provided for three nights, either at The Falcon Hotel (Course 1), or the Garden Hotel (Course 2). Both hotels are only a short stroll from the school. More information: |
